Original DMG-001 Model

I have owned this exact GameBoy since about 1991 or 1992, it’s screen has got pretty washed out and has a few columns of dead pixels.  It is due to have its display replaced but I am not sure what route I want to go, fix/replace with original, or one of the modern LCD replacement kits.
